When I came to Taos, New Mexico I really wanted to meet Carole Crews. Carole is an artist and natural builder that has extensive experience working with natural plasters and natural building. We have created a simple web site using WordPress and Flickr. Carole will be releasing a book about Mud, earthen plasters that is. Soon we hope to showcase and sell her new book online.

The Northfield First United Church of Christ opened their digital doorway this month. We worked to convert a old unfinished static web site into a interactive site. I created a custom WordPress theme and guided the project from start to finish.

Vivus is a architecture and design company based in Northfield, Minnesota. Peter and Mary Schmelzer are a husband and wife team. Peter, President and owner of Vivus, has a Masters of Architecture, a B.A. in Mathematics with minors in Art and Spanish. Mary is an Interior Designer that specializes in residential and liturgical spaces. On this project we started from scratch. Peter was interested in blogging, so we installed WordPress, a state-of-the-art publishing platform. Peter blogs about alternative building methods, sustainability, project delivery methods, and best practices.

The University of Minnesota Southwest Research and Outreach Center (SWROC) in Lamberton, Minnesota, leads an extensive program dedicated to exploring organic agriculture production and the science of organic systems. Program coordinators wanted a site that could provide up-to-date information, education and announcements about organic ecology research and outreach activities taking place within the University and throughout Minnesota.
This was a collaborative project with Marin Amundsom-Graham and Brent Kivell. While Marin worked through the content of the site I created a custom design and converted the existing site into a WordPress powered site. We held an extensive training session with the SWROC staff on completion of our work.
